Some of these posts are bringing back fun memories of riding in the Superstion Mtn. and Sedona, Az. - going back to work on Monday morning was the worst for me.

Thanks to everyone for sharing your photos and thoughts.

Wow...Crzycabbie appeared on another revived thread, which reminded me that he was going to move to Clark Fork. That was 3 years ago, 2011! And we never heard back from him. I hope all went well, and that he's living his dream. Maybe I've met him at the Clark Fork Pantry, or at the Evergreen hardware store . Who knows!

High above Wallace. The bright patch towards left is the Lucky Friday mine area.

We're still doing pretty darn good…
Some of the mountains in Wyoming got 15 inches of snow yesterday. Folks up in the panhandle probably didn't get anything, but down here, all we got was a cold windy day, and today was beautiful, sunny and calm again.

It's been quite chilly up here in our neck of the woods, Clark. I keep a bowl of water on the back porch for the dogs and it was partially frozen yesterday morning. I actually like winter, but I'm just not ready for it yet. I'm still trying to squeeze in one more boat trip. Maybe next week; the weather guessers say it'll hit the low 80's. Keep your fingers crossed!

That's the way Indian Summer is. The nights get cold and the days warm way up. The 5th season can last anywhere from a week to almost a month.

My fingers, toes, eyes, and wires are crossed. There's still snow on the Bridgers.
