Case in point..........the illegals are still trying to circumvent the system in this state......Totally aside from the fact this kid is illegal, residing in another state is also flouting the laws, but then we already know they don't feel the laws should apply to THEM.
This kid speaks English fine, and he's an illegal alien?
Doesn't Washington State require an WA address in order to obtain a license? How do they get around it?
I don't disagree with these new regs, but is it really better to have a bunch of unidentifiable, unlicensed drivers driving around?
You're kidding, right?
What do you think would happen if an illegal alien rear ends your car at a stoplight, thereby incapacitating your vehicle permanently? Or maybe to you?
Gosh, how about they just follow the damn law and don't drive at all if they're not legally entitled to one?
You're going to ask (or expect) people that already broke the law (by being here) to follow all other laws while they're here?

He would probably take off running.
If he had some sort of ID/registered vehicles, etc, wouldn't he be easier to find?
Good job Utah. The number of states they can run to are starting to dwindle. Now we have to hit them where it really hurts, and that is subsidized college tuition. These are the vehicles in which the illegals can propel themselves into the middle classes to take our jobs once they are finished taking the jobs that many blacks only have access to.

Ah, I see you're "getting it".............we KNOW they can't be expected to follow ANY of our laws, which is why we need to deport them back where they came from.
Apparently this little fact somehow escapes both the pro illegal apologists and our elected officials.
Come Jan 1st Utah is requiring proof of legal status before acquiring either a new DL or to renew one.
The downside (for citizens and legal residents) is that they have also taken away the renew online or by mail option. Too bad they can't institute some way of being able to do that once you've actually SHOWN valid proof (surely they could flag your DL that it's been done and restore that option for those that have?)
[/list]Utah Department of Public Safety
This should be required in all states.
This should be require to rent a place to live.
Purchasing a car and many other things.
I do not mind waiting in line just so we can find ways to start deporting criminals.
We need to put up a a sign at the DL office, Come on in so we can send you home!!

Because those 2 types above, always get choked up on charges of racism so they don't do anything. I wonder what the apologetic white liberals think when they hear minorities at rallies like the one minority UCLA professor who said, to paraphrase, he'd be glad once whites are reduced to a minority?
I knew an illegal who rear-ended somebody while he was driving "his vehicle" that was registered to a cousin who lived about 100 miles away. He did not leave the scene of the accident, but did not get arrested either (the cops knew he was illegal), only got roughed up by them. He could have easily fled.
He had:
no license
no insurance
vehicle not in his name
which makes it pretty easy for him to get off scot-free (the car was impounded). He was cited, but when the gov't doesn't know who you are, it's pretty easy to no-show court, fines, etc.
Since it doesn't appear that the gov't is preparing to mass-deport illegals, and since UT is giving them more of an opportunity to fly under the radar, what UT will get is more stories like the one above.
