Which is the very reason providing government handouts and asylum to any Mexican who wants in on it is the biggest joke going.
If they are seeking asylum in the USA, it's sure not because there is any border or enforcement of it. Whoever is out to get them could come over just as easily.
What needs to be done most of all is to cut off all welfare handouts including the plush handouts enticing people to come here to claim refugee status.
Or if Mexico is now so dangerous and violent that the Mexican people claim they can't live anywhere in it, why is that damned border still wide open?
They certainly aren't coming to work hard for a living with the unemployment rates as high as they are here, in fact much higher than the unemployment rates of Mexico.
They go there just for the same reason all immigrants went there, all Americans except Native Americans and Black Americans.
Not really. Too many rely on food stamps and Medicaid, free health care programs and the many other government programs that didn't exist when previous groups came. End all the handouts and the back door ways around the laws to cash in on those handouts and many would lose interest in coming.
Mexico like the USA is part of the New World. It was also a nation of immigrants before but that wouldn't mean any USA citizen can just go there illegally and demand every right of it's citizens.
We have the same problem here in Spain, illegal immigrants are provided with free health care, free education and handouts. I'm against, but it seems it's impossible to stop. I don't know why.

It's not impossible to stop. In fact it must stop. Welfare handouts changes the picture and makes for a reason for immigration that shouldn't exist.
The illegals coming over from Mexico aren't poor because Mexico is a poor country, the fact is that Mexico's economy is growing and it's middle class is growing. It's really not the grand failure the people leaving it insist. Mexico's poor are it's uneducated, the illiterate, those who have large families they can never feed, and start having children when they can't afford them.
Middle class in Mexico just like middle class in the USA finished their education, keep their kids in school, limit family size to what they can reasonably afford, and delay the start of their families until they can afford them.
It can't be stopped because BIG MONEY wants them.
For example, if it weren't for them, all the Spanish agricultural produce would have rotten in the fields.
There would be no labour for the service and tourist industry.
Unfortunately, local people are used to handouts and easy living and they hate manual labour.
Rich people need maids and nurses for their old people, so they hire an illegal Ecuatorian girl.
Farms need people during harvests since Spanish won't work, so they hire Moorish and Africans.
Maybe the solution is to remove handouts to locals so they start working again.
You are lucky in the US, you don't have Muslims.

Hardly any since the wall was build so why not build one here and put barb wire on top of it....see how many illegals will come in...
Than start to solve the illegal issue over here and we won't get as many coming in again.
