Let's see - How about learning to speak English for one.
How about not forcing your culture on Americans and demanding that it be crammed down our throat's.
How about not waving Mexican flags in our face, as if you have conquered
us and now the USA is a part of Mexico.
How about accepting our values and abiding by our laws and standards.
Latinos aren't stupid. Yes, there are many Mexican immigrants in Los Angeles but many that come to the city dont stay here. Many of them leave the city to other states. Los Angeles is like a "checkpoint" for these people. In time more immigrants will start heading towards other states rather than California. There really isnt much hope for a better life for these people in this state. Hispanics are now making 58cents for every dollar a white man makes when back in the 1960's hispanics made 75cents for every dollar a white man made. Besides, let latinos come to the United States! its this countries fault they are comming over here in the first place for all the corruption it caused to Latin America.
True, many (or most) don't stay in LA. They have all but taken over some towns and cities here in the South and in states throughout the USA.
Crime has also gone up about 200%, since the Mexican invasion of many towns and cities here.

That is pure propaganda. Sure, there are some places that will pay them under the table (no tax/cash money) and pay them $7.00 per hour instead of paying what they would normally pay a legal/regular employee, who would maybe be making $8.00 per hour.
They are doing better than a lot of White and Black Americans.
Construction workers here start off at about $12.00 per hour.
The Latinos make the same as a White or Black worker.
Yet, they combine their income and live 10 or 12 in one house, thus saving on rent. Somehow they even manage to get a food stamp card and WIC.
I pay full rent and utilities.
They come to our local Walmart in herds and scatter around the store, talking to each other on their cell phones, organizing their "shopping spree". Most walk out without paying for a thing. Boots, CD's clothes, food - you name it and they steal it.
(M wife works in a Super Walmart and sees how they pay for their food and sees what is stolen.)
Forgive me, but I can't make out exactly what you are trying to say in your last paragraph.
Are you saying that it is the fault of the USA that the Latin American countries and their politicians are corrupt? Is it our fault or are we forcing other people to have no morals, no character and to be dishonest enough to lie, cheat, steal and oftentimes kill?
Man, where do you come up with such nonsense?
When my wife moved from her home country of Germany to Finland.
She learned to speak Finnish - a very difficult language.
Then she learned to speak Swedish a little Norwegian and Russian.
She moved here to the USA with me and learned to speak English.

Ummm, your English is defective. It's THROATS, not THROAT's. Are you sure you are an American? LOL.
Okay, so you haven't defined American culture. You have merely stated what you are not. You have not stated what your values are. How indeed do you define American culture? What are American values? Merely saying "anything not Mexican" is American culture isn't good enough. If you can not define what it is you are trying to preserve, then I'm afraid you don't know who you are.
As a 4th generation Irish American white male, I am truly pissed off by the racist attitudes expressed in these threads. My suggestion to you is....forget about racial categories. Treat people as individuals. Judge them according to individual merits and faults. Don't generalize.
Latinos are fleeing L.A and it's basically the same reason why so many Whites and Blacks have left L.A,because of the Outrageous Cost of Living in L.A.
Immigrants will continue to come to L.A,but they will be more of the Wealthier Types.

Very broad category, ndfmnlf,--- it's like saying "you think we have racists? OK, you give me their names, ages, and addresses, and I'll believe you--otherwise, don't bother me"----pretty sneaky reasoning on your part, I'd say.
For your info, though, here's a few high points---American culture idealizes the following-- (this ideal is sought, though not always achieved)---
(1) Respect for the traditions of our US history--
(2) An honest willingness to compare relative merits of ALL cultures when criticizing ours---(ie, we're racist...we're mean....we're awful....OK, in comparison to whom?...in comparison to what other culture, or nation?..that sort of thing)
(3) Willingness to acknowledge our merits as well as our many historical sins (ie, America had slavery----America also ENDED slavery, etc., etc.,)
(4) Respect for all religions and lifestyles, actually built into and enforced by our legal system..
(5) A concept of being a society built upon law, rather than personality or religiuous belief or ethnicity..
(6) A high priority given to the fact of citizenship, recognizing it as a prize worth striving for and guarding...
(7) Freedom of Speech for ALL ideologies-
Many other attributes could be listed here---We haven't TOTALLY taken to all of the above, but we are trying !!
Meanwhile, here are a few things considered "No-no's" in American culture--
(1) Wife-beating
(2) Sex with goats (and, to some extent, chickens and pigs as well)
(3) Kiddie Porn
(4) Female genital mutilation
(5) Loud rock-throwing street disturbances-
(6) Animal abuse
(7) Dueling
(8) Slavery
(9) Honor killings of promiscuous daughters
(10)Communism
(11)Cutting down trees (to some extent--this one is not yet clear)
As I said, these haven't been TOTALLY wiped out, but most of us are satisfied that they're "on the skids", and hopefuly we'll get more-and-more in control as American culture continues to evolve and improve itself...
Look, the Latinos do not want diversity and they do not want anyone but themselves in that city. I say let them have it and give it to Mexico and put the damn wall up and break CA off from the country. CA, for a very long time now, has thought itself better than the rest of the country anyway. Don't give them any government money and then let them takem care of those damn illegals that they love so much.
I agree with you that Latino Immigrants currently coming to L.A don't stay very long,but eventually end up moving elsewhere to more affordable areas.
