Obama plans on adding millions more to the welfare rolls with the swipe of his pen? How will that be funded?

I don't know. I can only guess that in some cultures that a tribal mentality trumps common sense. Sort of like biting off your nose to spite your face. Maybe a long term goal/agenda plays a role in it also.

I wonder if the GOP could setup a shill 3rd party to protest amnesty on the grounds of the environmental damage.

OldGlory, W/O amnesty, the GOP is not a viable party for POTUS. As non-viable, they have no voice on the issue.

Prove it, please. No 1 thought that 2014 was a beat down for the Dems either.

Packard, Study history. 2014 was gonna be a great GOP year long ago. Thy had NO unsafe seats to defend. In 2016, they defend 24, Dems just 10. Anyone gloating when Dems win 2016 Senate back is as dumb as GOP gloating 2014.

In POTUS races, the turnout rises by a factor of over 20% of all eligible voters, and it is less white than off year races, and also less white every single POTUS cycle.

Uh; what it sounds like to me is that "non white" people are MORE likely to support lawbreakers like your illegal aliens over OUR kind, US citizens and legal aliens. Sheesh!

Really, bob? And where do you get this idea?

Once again, no politician on either side of the aisle should pander to lawbreakers.

The majority does NOT want amnesty for illegal aliens and will vote for the party that says no amnesty for illegals.

Believe it or not, bob, at one time it was the democrats who could be counted on to oppose amnesty. Democrats used to look out for the poor, working and middle classes. They knew how much amnesty would hurt their constituents and never would have allowed it.

You seem to think that a voting bloc that amounts to 10% of the voting population has some huge amount of power. They do not. Besides, not all of that 10% want to see illegals amnestied. Many poor Hispanic-Americans understand that they are losing out to jobs due to illegal immigration. That's why no party should ever pander to lawbreakers.

So, answer this question, bob --- 40 million Americans (my husband and our daughter included) can trace part or all of their roots back to Ireland. Why aren't politicians pandering to Irish-Americans with promises of amnesty for illegal Irish? After all, 40 million people is a huge voting bloc.

IMHO some of our illegal alien fans are TRYING to browbeat us into submission but it ain't working real well. Tho I really do get the feeling those fans are getting more and more scared that NO amnesty will ever happen.
