The Spaniards today had nothing to do with Mexico's misfortunes when Mexico fought/won its war of independence back in 1821 to use just one example.

That's the irony, isn't it? Americans today had nothing to do with the Mexican-American war, either, but Mexico's justification for sending their people pouring over the border is that this is really their land. AND, they insist that we need to learn Spanish for them even though the foundings of our government were Anglo-Saxon.

That's why I say they need to take their claims to Spain, their colonizer, if they're going to demand things of ANY country. Spain gave them their language, religion, etc. and the Mexican elite proudly proclaim their Spanish blood, looking down their noses at the indigenous people and mestizos.

Hold on. It IS a human right to immigrate anywhere you want to. It's also the sovereign right of the country that you immigrate to to kick your ass out just as quick as they can catch you.
