I'd love to dispute what you've said, but it appears to be true. I know we've looked the other way in the past because we depended on the illegals for labor.
Unfortunately, the tide has turned and now I believe it costs us more than we are prepared to pay. In many areas Spanish is now the dominant language, we must press 2 for English on the phone, and this country is unrecognizable to those of us who were born and raised here. If current birthrates continue, in fifty years . . . . . .
Pure labor only gave way to labor and admittance to some social welfare programs in the US as well as education and healthcare. It's just snowballed from there in costs to taxpayers and strains on the system.
If made by people here in the USA illegally-----------hell no!
Well the illegals aren't making most of them but they allow them to be cheap. Otherwise they'd be much more expensive, it's a win-lose situation either way.
<<they were charged with espionage and other crimes.>>
Oh c'mom! We all know that every time an American accidently sets foot in an unfriendly country they're charged with 'espionage.' It's a charge that's imposible to disprove, so they always throw it out there, hoping it will give them some legitimacy for their actions.
That would actually be devastating for the economy. Umm...where would we start for companies like Walmart?
With our depression level official unemployment rate of over 10%............I think not.
