have you ever experienced 100 degrees with 4 % humidity?
you 'll never know how you will tolerate it until you experience it..

Yep. I was just in Vegas in August and it was about that temperature, maybe a couple degrees cooler. Not sure about the humidity but it was certainly low enough to make my skin and lips chaffed and my eyes red. Fine to visit, but the climate is just too hot for me.

it takes awhile to adjust to it, but many people end up having no problems with it..hence the staggering growth in the Phoenix area..

And, generally the entire Southwest and Southeast. Granted job creation impacts people leaving the rustbelt but weather is also a major factor too. At the end of the day most people would rather put up with heat than cold.

Default Plus San Diego

West Coast is no picnic, either. Twice in the past three years I've had to ask my sister just how close the fires were to their house, or, conversely, if their hillside washed away under 'em. Let's not mention the recent earthquakes, which were within spitting distance of where we grew up.
Plus in August through September it's too humid in San Diego. Actually, it it's too humid in Santa Barbara County during August into October, too. It's not as bad as Illinois across from Saint Louis, Mo and the Chicago area, but it's miserable anyway. Of course, after that though, it's heaven most of the rest of the year.

Why 12 more years? That’s quite a while.
