I'm looking at this house:
1300 S First Street, Boonville, IN 47601

What is Boonville like? I know my husband would have a half hour commute but we're interested.

Boonville is your typical small town. Most of your shopping and entertainment will still be in Evansville. I think it has a Wal-Mart, though. It's the largest town in and the county seat of Warrick County. Don't know a whole lot about it because I've never really had a reason to spend much time there. I know the state was rebuilding Highway 62 between Boonville and Chandler. I think it's finished, but you might want to double-check if construction zone driving is a big concern.

Boonville isn't a bad little town, but it's nothing like Newburgh. My sister lived there for a few years. Like Johnny V said, it's your typical small town. You will, however, be only minutes from Newburgh. And there is a WalMart there, and lots of coal trucks.
