Grabbed this information off of urbanindy's Web site. Nice to see development not catered to downtown since we really do not see that here.

North Midtown Economic District | Urban Indy

I know there are already some things in the works. IvyTech rehab of the Old St. V's hospital as well as the Children's Museum plans for the old Winona site which looks very promising. If there is buy in for this, it could do a lot to improve the overall area.

I've seen the shark thing as a sig for a poster on another forum. Coincedentally, it looks like our friend has been spending some time over there as well.

This is happening over on the east side, I am pretty excited about the fitness center.

I'm excited about is development initiative. I believe it has legs with major players like Ivy Tech and the Children's Museum to lead the way. The corridor it would help create would foster all kinds of branches growing off of it.

I believe the actual quote is "........while other cities sleep" which makes more sense.

Nothing like quoting someone incorrectly.
