S&P 500 PE Ratio Chart
The level the market has risen to does not bother me as much as the pe ratio.
If you take a look at this S&P chart it shows that pe ratios are getting pretty high. I would not be surprized to see a pull back to the historical norm around 16.5.
That is where I would feel comfortable taking a larger position.
I hate to report that my net worth went up $49,000 gross in a week of "mediocre" markets.
So what? One can make that sort of short-term return purely by chance, come talk to me in 10 years after you blow-up. Traders have a very short lifespan.
im up over 400k over the last 2 years from the low but heck most of that was retracement back to where i was.... i had amazing rises and amazing daily drops. . for most traders and those that operate with waves, charts and planet alignments it all levels out at the end of the game to most likely less then an index funds return would have given them .
like i said if trading by waves, charts and hemlines was consistant fidelity would be paying billions for that secreat.... its like those idiots who spend 5k for the secreat trading pattern seminars and software... lol.. if anyone thinks these guys are passing their sssssshhhhhhh lil secreats on to you so you can be successful just like them i got a bridge to sell you.
like i say the forbes 500 is still holding that place open for their first market timer. you know, that guy who does it the ole fashion way, with his waves and charts and moving averages .

I am Talkin to you after 10 years ... Actually 11 years.
It didn't start out this good but my success rate for the last 5 years or so has been unbelievable.
As it is, I am not just a Day Trader. I also hold Long Term investments.
I do not exit all my positions at the end of every day or weekend.
I Semi Day Trade with my own "Self Taught System" that really works well for me.
I only trade approx. 1/2 my total investment portfolio.
Too bad some of you can't accept the fact that all Traders Do Not Fail, and BTW your talking to one of them ....
Mathjak is the only one so far that I see with a long term strategy that makes sense or works.
Good for you Mathjak.
Please excuse me as I have to go put on my Turbin now....
