I am just as surprised as the rest of you at how much Nvidia stock has risen. When I choose a stock, I don’t read charts or follow trends, except I pay attention to the moving average. I subscribe to Apple News and read business news daily. I also watch CNBC. So I keep up with the market.

A friend of mine bought Nvidia a few years ago, so I watched it climb, and eventually fall. When I felt the market had bottomed, I bought it in my Roth IRA. Since I own it and follow it, I chose it for this contest as well as Apple, which I have also owned for years and Tesla.

We still have a long way to go in this contest, and things could change drastically, but for now I am humbled to be in the lead.

Since you enjoy watching CNBC, I recommend you check out watching Bloomberg. I'll watch both. At my vacation house where the cable provider is Comcast, Bloomberg is included at no extra cost to my cable packages. At my primary house where the cable provider is Cox, it is an extra $5/month (I think).
