Although you could choose a fund that indexes to the price of gold, such as GLD.

I purchased GLD. Not a fan of stashing gold in my house or burying it in the back yard.

It seemed like a no brainer given all the inflation we've been dealing with, and we will continue to deal with for the foreseeable future (depending on who you ask).

Maybe I am late to the game here. I just stumbled upon this thread the other day. Gold has already had a very nice run starting late last year. But as long as the economy doesn't completely fall apart, it should continue to hold up very well since central banks are buying it like crazy as well.

So yes, count me in at 100% GLD I feel like this party is just getting started.

More supply than expected, as Europe has enough and the winter weather is warm. That it won't go up is a good thing, my heating bill is already high enough lol.

Index funds aren’t allowed either, read the rules on the first page.

You're welcome to play. You'd start with 100K when most people have more.

But...... read the rules. Minimum of 3 stocks, no funds or indexes. Minimum per stock is $20k. But there is nothing stopping you from picking three gold related stocks. I will be double checking that they are legitimate companies.

16 of 44 people playing are beating the S&P 500 by 15%+ after one month.
Pretty staggering figure.
