Suicide is very ,uch frowned upon by most Muslims. Even if they are suicide Bombers. All Muslims I know believe a suicide bomber is doomed to eternal Hellfire.
No, that is not correct.
Suicide is wrong in Islam, unless it is done in Jihad.
This is like saying a School play about Good Friday teaches Christian Children how to Crucify people or that a play about Massada Teaches Jewish Children how to commit suicide.
It should also be noted that this event depicted in the play is an event of very deep Religious significance to folloers of Jafa'ari Shi'ism and is not part of the tradition of any other group that uses the Name of Muslim.
How does visually comparing teaching to elementary age children crucification done by Romans and committing suicide by Jews who who rather die free than live as a slave by Romans compare to Muslims showing mock beheadings to other people? Telling the story is one thing. Showing the story is another. There is no comparison.
It does verify that anything that can be construed negative about Muslims does get media attention while anything positive is seldom publicized. Use the news that supports the stereotypes is the name of the media game.
Even if the news involves an Obscure Sect that is a very small minority.of the world's Muslims.
As Muslims get further away from the home of Islam, the more they become moderate in their thinking and thus aligning their religious views with the current world. But as the fundamentalists start mixing in their views start mixing in with the moderate views change starts slowly. This is how cults start. They start a little at time. As to the media, it depends on the part of the world. American/Canadian media tends to blow things out of proportion and turn things into worst case scenarios. And since a large majority of those here on CD are from the the US/Canada their media tends to sensationalize it for a few days and then forgets about it because most don't deal with in their daily lives. Compare this to South Americans, Africans and Middle Easterners who do. And to Europeans who are seeing a growth of this coming to their shores. It depends on who the audience is.

Outside of the Middle East, most are not going to play this. But to be fair; How many kids play Cowboys & Indians? or Army Soldiers?
As to playing suicide bomber, this was learned from the Palestinians. But outside of that region Muslims to it to other Muslims most often rather than doing it to those of other religions.
Hardly fair, the OT is Jewish, a thousand years earlier, and understandably outdated.

Oddly though the Honor killings by Punjabs living on the India side of the border do not get called honor killings. They get labelled "Dowery disputes"
Sort of like in much of the world the label "Honor Killings" has been replaced with the label of "Domestic Violence"
