Which is exactly what 99% of all people in Jacksonville do, they get in their car and drive there.

Exactly, so pick any neighborhood you like. You're going to have to drive to the action.

I'm not sure what "action" means for various people. On this very rainy day - I was shopping for a new refrigerator - and then food shopping at Whole Foods and JAX Oriental Market.

FWIW - we've been all over in terms of refrigerator shopping. Including Ferguson. On Phillips somewhat south of San Marco. Don't know why it ever moved there from its former somewhat north of Riverside commercial area to that part of town except because Hugo's was there. That area has never been swell since we moved here - but it is simply awful now. Prostitutes and pimps on street corners at 2 pm. I will probably not buy a $10k subzero refrigerator. But - if I were inclined to do so - I sure wouldn't buy it there. Robyn

I've living the WGV area and I live close to Queens Harbor now. I prefer Queens Harbor area because its close to the beach (only a few miles away), plenty of restaurants, shopping, and theaters. It is also very easy to get around with I295 and downtown JAX nearby.

Just depends on what you like. For me WGV was too remote.
