When Denver beat Carolina in the Super Bowl it was Denvers defense that won the game so there is hope with the Jaguars defense we can overcome the Steelers.

Bortles needs to work on his delivery and our receivers need to dig a little deeper for those passes.

A win is a win and the Jaguars are climbing the playoff ladder

yes, and Bucs' SB season was a defensively dominated season - just need a little help from the offense

Boy was that an ugly W! But a fun game to watch nonetheless. I like our chances vs. the Steelers. Big Ben tends to hold the ball too long and that allows our D-line to get sacks, evidenced by the 5 we got earlier this year vs. him.

My goodness I wish we had Allen Robinson healthy. Just can't throw any kind of 50/50 balls at all to anyone on the team. Let's hope someone figures out how to run the ball next week.

It was scary to watch Bortles. It was almost as if he got the yips and was afraid to throw to anyone at one point. But man, this defense is something to watch. The whole game was absolutely thrilling and entertaining (not so much if you talk to non Jags/Bills fans but who cares about them).

Steelers are installed as -7.5 favorites. Did we not beat them this year at their place?! Take the Jags and don't look back!

On another note, can't believe I'll be rooting for the Titans this weekend...

Yeah, there was a point where Blake literally couldn't throw a screen pass 5 yards to wide open backs. But to his credit that TD pass was placed perfectly (ballsy call too!) and his runs saved the day. Can't believe we went an entire game with zero catches for Lee, Hurns and Cole and still won the game......unreal. Offensive line was horrendous. Nearly all of Fournette's carries went into a wall of defenders......partially due to them daring Bortles to throw.

If Blake wants to continue playing in Jax he'll need to have a BIG game this week. Literally playing for his job at this point, Buffalo game didn't do much to help his cause.

I just can't see the Jags giving this guy $19m unless he wins it all this year. Here's a fun stat: Bortles is 2-0 this year when he throws for less than 100 yards. 87 yards yesterday and what was the other game? vs Steelers earlier this year (8/14 for 95 yds). There is hope!!

And yup, that took some serious b***s to call that play in that spot. Didn't see that coming.

it's almost as if he has the throwing "yips" like former Dodger Steve Sax and Cubs pitcher Jon Lester.

Funny, I was going to mention Sax and Chuck Knoblauch but wasn’t sure if anyone would get the reference. Mackey Sasser too for all you Mets fans.

forgot about Knoblauch....but it looks like those short finesse screen or touch passes are Bortles' nemesis....

Well the yips implies he had some level of comfort and ability throwing the ball and we all know he's not a "natural thrower" That said, I know the wind was extremely bothersome and he was putting a lot of touch on the ball...not an excuse but an explanation.

The Steelers offense right now is a far cry from the offense in week 5. That said I do still have hope...I think Bortles can play much better...but will he?
