You said " growing up Jax was always my life goal " wow, I don't even know what to say about that other then it is great to dream small..... all your dreams can come true. What is the problem really? Your asking us if it is worth it? Jax is a very average American city, some positives a lot of negatives in my mind. It is not an expensive place, there is tons of housing fairly cheap for a city, you have a job. 40k and single, you will be fine, better then many others, hook up with someone and you will live like a king. The question is more about if you want to come. You said it was a dream. It is a very easy one to fulfill. You WANT to come just come. You are risking nothing.
