I received two calls from Two Different Employers this morning and one of them I called back asked could I come into tomorrow and I told them my only available day is Friday. I tried that before and let me tell you that going on two interviews in one day is not a good idea, Just too mentally draining. So I have another interview on Thursday and was trying to schedule the other interview for Friday but we couldn't agree to a time that was good for both of us. So has anyone else gone on Two Interviews in One Day?

I, too, don't like doing 2 interviews in the same day...more because of public transportation. But, whaat you are saying is that you have experienced two interviews in the same day and it was unenviable situation. You are also saying that they are not giving you a choice, i.e. (trying to schedule the other interview for Friday but we couldn't agree to a time that was good for both of us).... so I would just try to do both! if I am not given a choice. Unless, one job I really don't want, then I would skp it.

I've done it (in this economy, no less) and had no problem with it. I was just grateful two companies thought enough of me to even want to talk in-person.
Would've been nice if I'd gotten either job, but that's a rant for another time.

See that's the thing, I want to me totally focused on one interview, not two in that same day. One Interview is nerve racking enough so it's just best to have one a day.
Hell, Ive scheduled three in one day, but then again, San Antonio, and my own car is a different thing. one hour interview, drive to the next, actually prepare and learn from the previous, hyped from it, and ready for it. Done em, 9 , 1 and 4. All a part of being prepared. Its actually easier. Plus you don't have to buy another "top coat"
I wouldn't suggest it for logistical reasons. You never know what could happen and most employers (at least ones I know) want to do interviews from 9a-11a or 1p-4p and that severely limits your ability to make up for an interview running over, them showing you around, traffic etc. One per day is enough and all you need to let the other company know is you have a "previously scheduled engagement". Don't mention the other interview unless they as in the interview and then don't mention the company either.
Of course I have only had 4 job interviews (from 4 opportunities) in the past 10 years so you may want to get your info from someone who has been to more as opposed to conducted them

well it will be 63 degrees tomorrow and 56 on Thursday so I think the Top Coat won't be used no more until next winter. The spring is now here
