I find that since I wear a yarmulke on my head at all times that Evangelicals give me a pass, and mostly tell me that they admire my dedication to my faith (they assume I walk the talk). So I don't feel all that adversarial stuff non religious Jews feel when they hear Chrstians speak about Yushke.

I wear my kippah as well, and most of my interactions with evangelical Christians include attempts to either "prove" their religion or to convert me.

For me, bottom line is that all that Yushke talk has no effect on me. And I appreciate their "goyisha frumkite." It's rabid liberal secularism that frightens me, not religious Chrstians.
You can either act like a Southerner and slowly end the friendship or act like a Northerner and tell that person to their face that their religious digs bother you and it needs to stop. Your choice.

Who knew I could predict people's personality based on only their gender and location? If I had read this sooner, I would have saved myself the trouble of understanding people as individuals

Bizarre? Are you kidding? My experience is similar to theflipflop's. Our local rabbi, a Lubavitcher who has lived in several parts of the U.S. besides Crown Heights, also reports similar experience. Yet I have no need to deny your experience. People aren't all the same, areas aren't all the same, and there seems to be a certain amount of chance in who you run into.

I think it's because Torah Observant Jews have much more in common hashkofically with Chrstian Evangelicals than non observant Jews.
Oh, people of all faiths are always trying to stealth-convert me with phrases from their Books. I have a very rare religion. Their actions? It's out of concern. I think it's cute. I look at the person's heart. BTW goyim is an offensive term for gentiles, but surely you knew that?
Goyim and gentile is offensive for the obvious reason, it sets barriers. When someone has a word for "everyone thats not us" its offensive. Christians are just as offensive when they refer to me as "unsaved" for being an agnostic.

While TFF has stated several times that he thinks they're our biggest ally, where I come from they're the ones who call us "Christ killers", vandalize our synagogues, and try to make Christianity a state religion.
