Exactly, they are very fast, stores are clean etc.

While we are way off topic, have you seen the new QT protoypes?

New QuikTrip store seeks to compete with Starbucks | Kansas City Business Journal

I'm kinda of wondering if they will mess up what already works. Who wants to sit out in front of a gas station and have a coffee? But who knows. QT seems to know what they are doing. It's funny seeing just how much volume they do compared to some other station across the street. It's like watching Chipotle run 500 people through a dinner rush while the Qdoba across the street gets 50 in the same time period.

They need to rollout urban QTs with no gas.

There are KwikTrips up in Wisconsin and Minnesota and they are almost just like the QT's down here, i think the ones up north are a little better because you can get items like a thing of bananas for 70 cents, an onion, an individual potatoe for dirt cheap and they have great deli items, bakery items and coffee.

They already opened what sounds like the Gen. 3 prototype in Independence, on 24 going out toward Fort Osage HS, last summer. It's larger, has an espresso bar and ice cream shop, includes what appears to be a more expanded (but still small) grocery selection, and has outdoor seating. It's amazingly nicely done, for a convenience store.
