People in Kentucky do not feel inferior in this country I can promise you that. As well they shouldnt. I think you best re-examine the area and the people. Sure they may not be rude and hateful, but they dont care to get to the point and get the job done either. Just cross one and see what happens.....
I really do think the truly friendliest people in Kentucky are in (a) Northern Kentucky, (b) Frankfort (for some reason), and even though I've dogged the place, (c) limited parts of Louisville (ppl there are generally either very curt or rude, or very cheery and friendly.)
I've dated girls from Eastern Ky. and dealt with countless EKY customers in sales. Let's just say I don't want to move to EKY. At all. And I certainly don't ever plan to date another one of EKY's girls; I tend to stick to the more civilized parts of the state, such as a-c as I mentioned, Lexington or Owensboro.

Um no. Kentuckians have plenty of pride and know their self worth in society. We do not deem anyone of higher class or social stature. Everyone was created equal and should be treated as such.

A nice assertion and perhaps the way things ought to be but it doesn't fit what I observed. But what else are you gonna say? Southern society has it's peculiarities. I think the social setup (among whites) is a lingering result of slavery.
