I saw many 110's and literally months over 100. So, whatever.

Temperatures of 100ºF or greater are not unusual,
but occur less frequently than commonly thought. An
average of nine days per year will hit the century mark,
mostly in June and July. There have been four years
when the temperature did not reach 100ºF (1927, 1938,
1941 and 1988). At the other extreme, three years have
experienced more than 30 days with 100ºF temperatures
(1951, 32 days; 1978, 33 days; and 1980, 32
days). The highest temperature of record is 110ºF on
June 28, 1994.

But whatever.

I had 110 when I lived in Kansas city and it was hot, but it didn't kill me. Perhaps I need to order a dashpad for my car or not take it out during the day. I am still concerned about driving there. Am I going to have people cutting me off, riding my tail, road rage, and other disgusting rude behavior like I have in Florida everyday there? I am going to be there in less than 2 weeks. There last time I was there was early 2006. I hope I won't be shocked at the changes since then.

I didn't want to write it again, no offense, but my answer from your other thread stands. Drivers here are very polite. There hasn't been that much change since '06 you won't be shocked.

You're chances of seeing 110 are very, very small. You're not likely to ever see 105 unless you stay here a long time. This summer, with a pretty strong El Nino shaping up, is likely to be cooler and wetter than usual.

Today is forecast to hit 100F for the first time this season (June 2, 2015). Historically, it has hit 100F a time or two in early May, and record for May is 105.

Typically there are periods of a week to ten days in latter part of June when temps will hit 100+ every afternoon. But that is a peak temp. Night time temps will be in 70s. Warm enough that air conditioning is welcomed 24/7. Best time of day during June hot spells are at dawn.

You need to also consider the relative humidity... That is a big factor which affects comfort.

Once the monsoon hits, it will cool off, but the first couple weeks in June tend to be very hot.

I guess you people who work in the government office buildings wear more formal wear, but around town, it's reasonably casual -- even in most offices.

Of course if I was going for a job interview, I'd wear a suit (male or female) just to impress my seriousness about the position.

Which are we talking about, Tucson or Las Cruces? Tucson Guayabera season - definitely over 100 many many many days, hits 110 many days, and above. And Las Cruces very hot also.

I was talking about Las Cruces. It is the Las Cruces forum, lol (sorry).

Cruces is roughly 10 degrees cooler on any given day than Tucson, across the board. Altitude. Still plenty hot though and that is why I will be leaving for the Sacramentos (near Sunspot) here momentarily.
