Reflection Bay Golf Course in Henderson to undergo renovation | Las Vegas Review-Journal

Looks like someone sent out a short press release. Just a couple of photos.

Drove by again on Monday, very little going on aside from some holes dug at the driving range and work done on the signature hole.

The conference I'm producing at the Hilton starts Monday. I was speaking with the A/V guy in-house at the Hilton who said the casino isn't slated to open until sometime next year.. at least that is what he heard...

I attached some pics of the Reflection Bay Golf and Beach Club that I took on Monday morning. It looks like Hawaii and Beverly Hills at the same time!! It's my understanding this is a public beach for LLV residents. It looks amazing!!!!! I'm hoping drinks will be served at my chair in the sand? I'm amazed at how beautiful this place is and looking forward to seeing it transform.

I took Galleria Pkway from Tuscany a few times. I was able to get to Summerlin in 30 mins... and to the strip area in about 20 via 515 to Flamingo. This is such a time saver as you don't have to go through all of the Lake Mead traffic lights.

Cadence has begun their landscaping at Warm Springs and Lake Mead Parkway... It was spreading east and looking amazing!!! I saw hundreds of trees being planted!! It made that area look amazing!!!

Casino buzz is all over the place. Most people are staying the Fall. I think a Fall opening along with the golf course would be the best thing.. A grand-grand opening. The restaurants all say they are busy.

There was also talk about adding a small movie theatre above the casino. What many don't know is there is about 20k or more square feet of space above the casino. If you look up from the village, you can even see the balcony up there. That was initially thought to be an ultra lounge back in the day or further expansion of the casino. I'd love to see a smaller venue theatre in the village. Once most of the housing is in place, including Cadence over the next few years, I could see that working. I'd love nothing more than to never leave LLV. Live, shop, play, dine, theatre, gamble.

I had lunch at the Brio in Tivoli in Summerlin on Sunday. It was packed, buzzing, expensive cars in the valet. I just don't see why that can't be Lake Las Vegas again. We have the same set up and structure. I hope that Paulson and Raintree are reading these posts. I will suggest to Cody Winterton of LLV they they read these to know what we are all saying and thinking. I think that's it for now!

Thanks for the update and pictures, LLVResident. I will be out there on June 14th and will be staying through the fourth of July. I'm looking forward to "touring" the progress of my beloved RB golf course. I'm also looking forward to driving through the Galleria Parkway.

As usual, I will be playing several rounds at Tuscany, so I will be sure to ask around regarding RB. I know one of the starters there who once worked for RB a long time ago. He seems to be in the know when it comes to rumors, so I'm hoping he (and other employees there) can offer more information regarding dates, rates, etc. After all, they will be operated by the same company.

My wife and I selected a beautiful home to lease at LLV last weekend.
As we strolled about Montelago Village we spoke to a shop owner who mentioned that the casino would probably open by October.
We are looking forward to becoming part of the LLV community and hope to do what we can to help bring LLV back to where it needs and deserves to be.
We are beyond thrilled about the move to this hidden jewel in the desert and if you see the Beverly Hillbilly's truck on the LLV grounds it's most likely us : )

I heard a rumor that Toll Brothers is preparing to reopen the sales office at the Vita Bella town-home development. Can anyone else confirm this or hear anything about it? We have a tenant that stays in our home there full time and I guess there was some chatter about it between some neighbors. I'm assuming they might be reopening in preparation for all of the expected traffic from Reflection Bay with hopeful/expected sales. He also said the LLV resident beach between Vita Bella and Reflection Bay clubhouse was recently rebuilt with gorgeous white sand.

I track the real estate sales within the development on a regular basis and can say that Toll Brothers recently put up for sale 2 of their units (never lived in) with direct lake view. One of them went under contract within a couple weeks of listing. The other one, although priced a little higher than the first one, is in a premium location and probably won't last long. Hopefully they will have some success and be able to complete the development...it's so nice there and so are the home designs inside and out....would be nice to get rid of the eye sores of the unfinished lots and fencing. Hopefully this is just another good sign of more great things to come to LLV in general.
