Like the MGM properties, Caesars will start charging for parking soon. ( Big suprise right?) If someone applies for and get approved from the MGM credit card... parking is free at all MGM Properties. Will that be the same policy at Caesars if you get their Total Rewards credit card?

Some executive probably just got a raise and they have to find the money somehow. Same with MGM! They've taken out most of their grass at their properties, even Bellagio, and the Mirage (replaced with Astroturf) so that saved some money in water bills, headed directly to the top executive? Before long, they'll charge you for viewing the fountain display at Bellagio!

The local casino's will be the beneficiaries, and I can just hear the hands clapping!

I am so pleased I have let my Diamond status end in 4 weeks. Caesars have nickel and dimed all the fun out of playing there.

I am not surprised by anything the Strip hotels do anymore to fleece more money out of the visitors. I read recently that resort fees have hit almost $40/night at Aria, Vdara, and Bellagio.

Some people must not care about it that much if they keep paying it. Either that or they just don't know any better.

What I thought was funny was some Strip properties were advertising great Black Friday Deals, as low as "$35 per night!" then in small print "$39 per night resort fee not included"

At some point this is going to blow up in their faces. Apparently this isn't that point yet.

It's the old story like when the coffee producers slowly reduced the quality of the coffee while the price remained the same. Eventually everyone realized the coffee was crap, sales went way down. Eventually people are going to realize that the casinos are not worth what they're charging and go elsewhere. This is especially true since the casinos are deprecating gambling in favor of other forms of entertainment (clubs, shows, restaurants, shopping, etc.). For the latter, no one needs Vegas.

What is really the issue here is the astronomical multi-million dollar commiseration for their executives! And with all their millions, do they really worry about eventually losing their jobs over this? Shame on them all!

At some point in time, any "empire" is bound to topple of its own accord.

What toppled the Venetian empire of Italy? They found another route to India, ending the blood-sucking that was going on up until them! They enjoyed their monopoly in the Mediterranean for centuries, and?

And if the Las Vegas "empire" should collapse, it will be the workers who will suffer the most!

God forbid, what will occur during the next Recession in Las Vegas!!! Recessions have a way of reappearing every 8-10 years and we're heading for overdue territory!
