Yesssss!!!!! There was a blue dumpster sitting in front of our house for a while and it took weeks of us calling Republic before they finally removed it. Nobody in the neighborhood had rented it, so how it got there, who knows.

Additionally, trash pick-up has been days late and they don't want to be bothered picking up garbage bags you place next to your can. So they'll use the automated lift and empty the bin, but leave everything else sitting on the curb. It's been awful.

In area's that have the provided cans the truck only has a driver as the pick-up is semi-automated. No need for the guy who used to run around behind manually dumping the cans. Another victim of technology I suppose.

Been fighting it now on and off for 20 years. We have our landscaping manicured every two weeks and end up with between 6 and 12 bags of yard waste. Then we often take two weeks to get rid of it. We call after the two weeks and they always get it the next day.

If we ever go to the once a week system we will but another trash cart or even two. Then simply load the yard stuff.
