Chest,
For a new person, it's nice at first. As years go by or a decade, the 7+ months of clouds and rain begin to take its toll.
For some, it's never a big deal for others it's a grind along with the terrible traffic. For others, they're stuck because of job or family circumstances.
In my case, I became single, the kids are raised, moved out and starting thier own families and I began to think perhaps it's time to change things up a bit after 21 years in Washington. Or, I commonly have this thought about "is this the way I want to live until I retire"?
While I have plenty I need to do with the $8k its probably going to cost me to move, perhaps dialing in a change is just what the doctor ordered. My job follows me so if I dont like it, I'll move back.

I'm including the rental deposit and first and last months rent in that as well. Not sure what is typical for LV so put all three in my calculation.

Man, just got back from a weekend in Vegas. The weather was perfect! I lucked out and missed out on the snow in Seattle that everyone back here is complaining about.
