Pack a parachute in your carry on luggage. If you're flying southwest you can just jump out the whole in the roof.

What a rough day today, a tire on my car blew out today on 95 & lake mead in summerlin at.70 mph
luckily a roadside assistance van stopped by and helped change my tire and gave me a little gas
I still feel good, I'm getting paid tomorrow
so I can begin putting money away towards a new place, also settled a great payment plan with my best buy credit card, so I feel good today

What good is it going to do in the carry on luggage? I say wear it. Freak everyone out, not just the TSA.

Twenty five years ago I got on an airplane in Rochester NY behind two good sized dudes wearing parachutes. No middle ground. I been around airplane a lot and while not a jumper I have on occassion worn parachutes while playing acrobatics. Those guys were wearing parachutes.
I pointed it out to the chief flight attendant who I knew. She reported it to the Captain. He said they could wear whatever.
I expect that is still the rule today.
And when you think about it - that may be OK. Practically how are they going to get out?
