Dang...I'm glad I only visited that area in daylight. The latest was at dusk. (Flamingo/Maryland Parkway)
Now my friends are moving to the Twain/Swenson area so I will probably never see them again.

The beer run video was at Sunset and Pecos which is nowhere near the area were you and I live. As far as being shot at, damn, that is terrible. I do not blame you for wanting to move. I have also been thinking about it myself since I hate this apartment and no longer go to the strip anymore. I am looking at renting a room in Green Valley since it is close to my job and is very nice.

I have been lucky to not have been a victim of crime since moving to Las Vegas. The only thing I can think of at all was when I was a Bill's Casino a few years back. Someone stole $25 worth of my chips when I was not looking.

Probably just because they can. It's all about pushing limits and trying to prove how tough they are. It's in the music, it's in the households and it's reinforced with all of the peers they hang out with.

Get ready for NV energy to take you to the cleaners again this summer. They want to raise rates again because customers were conserving too much electricity.

NV Energy customers may get zapped for conserving - Wednesday, May 4, 2011 | 2:01 a.m. - Las Vegas Sun

So true and I bet if any of the thieves are apprehended. None will show any remorse for the theft.

We were told we are getting our dumb meters within the next 5 days. So that should be more revenue for those greedy bastards. I am tired of suffering like crazy to conserve and they keep making us pay more.
I will see how long we survive with no a/c whatsoever. I just hope the cats don't die.

There is no need to suffer like that. I am the most poorest i.e lowest paid member on here and still manage to keep the ac at 75 degrees. You will have to find a way to cut other expenses to compensate for it like I do.

But you only have three hundred square feet to keep cool.
