All of it by Ford? I think at one point their Escort and small truck was made by Mazda or partly made by Mazda.

They used to, but Ford and Mazda do not have a partnership anymore. Mazda now has a partnership with Toyota.

That would be correct, curiousgeorge5. They call them pocket rockets and they also call them hot hatches. It's because it has an intercooled 197hp I-4 cyl turbo engine that pushes this little monster to a 0-60mph time of only 5.9 seconds!
It’s actually 6.4 seconds

Depends on how well (fast and correct) you can shift. Of late I'm reading 5.9 seconds. I've read both.

The focus ST is faster than the fiesta but people have way more fun in the fiesta for some reason.
The focus rs is way faster but boring compared to the st.

I don't want any of them. The depreciation is insane and at the end of the day they're still a focus or fiesta.

If I buy a later model fun car it will be a 2016-18 bmw 340 manual or slightly older m3 manual sedan.

If I do end up in la running that weld school I'll get an audi r8 v10 manual.

I didn't know it had a turbocharged engine in it. Sounds like fun.

The Honda Civic SI had a non-turbo "V-tech" engine for a long period, until recently. Now that model is a turbo. Car and Driver or Road and Track say the "V-tech" powered Si's are more fun.
