Does anyone know how long they hold someone in jail in southern Nevada for a domestic disturbance where the person tried to kill the other person? It's been 3 days so far with the person in jail. Cannot get info for my friend from the detention center, they do not give out that kind of info unless it's a relative.

Uh.. probably until his trial for attempted murder? Or are we talking about 'threatening to kill'?

Your friend can call you collect and tell you what's going on.
In the mean while, mail a letter to your friend. Inmates have a right to receive mail.

I wasn't looking at that perspective, I was looking at it from the view of someone that used to live there. Not visit. But it makes sense. Locals and tourists always see a place different.

He was trying to strangle her. He is in jail. Bond was set at $15,000. Doesn't seem like much for what he did.
