Pinkstring: During my days of being penny wise and dollar foolish, I would have foolishly jumped at the opportunity to get a free donut! Have no idea where the closest one is, I'd waste too much gas just trying to find one, and then the return trip?

I miss Mister Donut donuts! Never been a fan of Dunkin' Donuts!

I remember the Dunkin' Donuts coupon for $2.25 for a dozen in the newspaper.

I was a young punk on my bike in '77 at the ripe ol' age of 10.

Me and a buddy would chow down 6 each. This was in downtown Chicago, btw.

Nice!

peace

There's a non-chain donut place up the road from me on DI/Eastern, and if I'm on one of my late-nite walks in that area, I always stop there around 3-4am when the donuts have just come out of the oven, and they're so fresh and tasty! Donuts sitting in the case for too long just don't do it for me!
When you see cracks in the frosting on the donuts, they've been there too long, won't buy!

Buy a doz fresh donuts, Id eat 10 of them and save 1 for my then 2yr old and 1 for then 3 yr old and be the best dad in the world But the funniest thing was I didnt gain an once, I didnt even know what LDL was, and couldnt care less about high blood pressure...and now in the blink of an eye, my kids are stumbling in from a party at 5am and Im weighing myself after a breakfast of grape fruit and prune juice
