Sounds better. I love the sunrise hours here but I rarely get up then if I don't have to.

Public arts funding is on the front page once again but here is an old article about the controversial and expensive public art pieces installed in the Arts District.

It's truly sad, given the wealth in this community, we don't have more donors for public art in Las Vegas.

$700,000 budget, the paint buckets would have cost $3 million. But why should be have the city cough up all that money!!! Wealthy residents, who came here to escape paying state income taxes elsewhere, where are your donations, your caring for the community!!!

Personally, I'd like to see some humanoid sculptures downtown, with a comedic quality, rather than abstract sculptures. The type of sculptures that will make you laugh, enlighten your day!

^^

There was a guy commenting on the original LV Sun article that said he got really sick after eating there. He said five members of his party became ill, but he got the worst of it. I feel bad for the guy. Salmonella is no fun. The ex and I got it at a BBQ at his mom's house. Ugh.

There are much worse forms of food poisoning. Salmonella generally won't kill you. It will just make you wish you were dead.

I liked that place, the owner seemed too laid back on a show that exposed problems with the place. He should have hired a no nonsence ****** like me to manage.
