I'm here. Tired but ready for a busy week. Drug test in the morning then off to get a mail box and start the DMV process.

Anyways after that I headed up to one of those do it yourself carwash places at Decatur and Vegas Drive. While I was washing my car there was some mexican guy trying to sell me "high end" cologne. One of the bottles in particular was called "Liquid Panty Remover" That just made me laugh, some stranger was trying to sell me liquid panty remover. Needless to say, the cologne smelled great. Still didn't convince me to buy it though. He wanted to charge me $20, online it sells for $70 plus $15 for shipping

Just thought I'd share a lil anecdote on my adventures here so far
Is that the old Mervyns?

Vegas and Decatur isn't the best neighborhood Davie. Although Siegfried and Roy have a compound just east of Decatur on Vegas where they keep lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my.

Trust me on this, get to the DMV at 7 AM which is one hour before they open. Otherwise, you will be there all day.

I wonder if some of those people are actually allergic to all the pesticides on the fruits and veggies, rather than the fruits and veggies themselves. Buy organic!

I saw that as I pulled into the carwash. Sadly most of the do-it-yourself car washes are in lower class areas. I prefer to wash my car myself as it is usually cheaper (usually about $3-$4) And it would be MUCH cheaper then going to Fabulous Freddy's which is next to my job in Summerlin

Well, I have gotten the drug test, have a mailing address and was able to open a bank account yesterday. I am on my way to get the tam card today. My sister sent me my ss card this morning from NJ so when that gets here I will start the DMV. I tried to have a card sent to CR but never got it. Luckily the second one arrived at my sisters. I had lost mine 20 years ago and never needed it. I know a couple people hate B of A, I used to. They were my last bank in the states and I swore I would never go back but yesterday they were extremely helpful and polite and seem to have opened me a very convenient account. I will know in 6 months and by then will be able to open an account anywhere.
