Aqua is a Mason. I'm sure they are supporting him too.

Nope...I've suggested that to him the past...that he turn to his fraternal brothers...and he said that they don't do that sort of help.

Suggested back in October, 2009:

There are other ways they can help you, other than just cash.

That exchange was over 2 years ago. A familiar pattern is apparent.

Default Sunrise

Was amazing this morning! The entire sky was light pink, orange and blue.

Beautiful pictures Lyra. This is just an amazing city. What I'm getting a kick out of are the bellringers at this time of year. Back where I'm from, they huddle around their kettle and hope to not freeze to death. Here the other day I saw one in shorts and t-shirt playing Christmas carols on a portable keyboard with a hot dog stand in the background cranking out lunch time treats.

Thanks everyone. I'm a sunrise/sunset fanatic.

Davie, nice drawing! I love driving into Summerlin on the pkwy.

BTW, if you do get up in the morning, the bright "star" in the sky in the east is Venus. This time of year Venus is about 45 deg ahead of the sun.

ETA: Smile overload!

That view of heading West on Summerlin Parkway just off the 95 and the palm trees with the SUMMERLIN monument, the Spring Range in the backdrop, Red Rock Canyon over to the left of that...even after all these years is still so awesome to me.

Great sketch Davie, keep it up! Thanks for posting it on here.

I love that view as well. Another great one is the view coming down the 6% grade on 215 between Lake Mead and Cheyenne. You can see almost all of Centennial Hills from that point, along with the mighty Sheep Range in the backdrop

Another good one MomMom is the view on the sw side of 215 by Russell right before the road curves to the north. You get a very clear view of Red Rock and all the Spring Range in all its beautiful snowcapped glory

Im going to continue to sketch MomMom and will post them here

I wanted to add that in my sketch there is a word bubble that got blurred out above the blue car. The word bubble says "Shine Sweet Free, Shine the Light on Me" from the Michael McDonald song "Sweet Freedom" Im a very strange almost 21 year old, everytime I drive Summerlin Parkway I feel compelled to play that song as I view the mountains from SP

And on another note Im going to be attending the jobs fair at the palms today. I want to look professional. I have grown a beard. Should I shave all my facial hair for the job fair today?
