That's strange, my message above was a reply in the dog thread and it somehow appeared here.

It looks like the whole rock throwing at dog thread was moved up here.

Today I had some more training today at the Cosmopolitan, today was food training. We spent 3 and a half hours trying all the foods the Overlook Grill would be serving the 4th floor pool. Too many delicious foods to list, and I got to try them all. Im stuffed and have no room left for that chicken dinner my gf was gonna make tonight.

One of my best friends from Orlando is flying in tomorrow for his 21st b-day and will be here a whole week, Im excited. Its gonna be a fun week

With my HOA community, if you get two noise violation letters about your dog barking, out they go!!! Gotta get rid of them!

I work nites, sleep days, ask me why I'm in an HOA community with strict regulations over noise issues!!! Gotta get my sleep!!!

i also work nights, but if i received 2 letters and they were forcing me to get rid of the dogs.. they would have one battle in court.. they would have to prove it was my dogs.. highly unlikely.... it would cost the hoa dearly...(grin)

Oh please! Being a nite shift worker, I occasionally walk my ferret around my neighborhood anytime between the hours of 1am and 4am. My ferret makes no noise at all, together we make very little if any noise, and how many times have we encountered a dog with very keen hearing who'll start barking like crazy, and set off other dogs barking. And are we a threat to the homeowners?

That's why I'd never have a dog, they're too stupid, can't differentiate between a real threat and an imagined threat.

Can't imagine it! Having my dog wake me up in the middle of the night because of some perceived threat.

It's far worse, when we walk outside our townhouse complex, and walk around the "free-style"/non-HOA neighborhoods at that hour of the night. I feel sorry for those people awakened by their dogs at that hour. But, this is a 24 hour city, folks, I'm not changing my course, as my ferret is nocturnal, won't walk during the daytime!

One of my co-workers, who had to surrender her dog, is in a townhouse complex with stricter rules than where I'm living. There, only one violation letter, and out goes the dog!

I hope so. Just be aware that mixing a gf with hometown best friend is sometimes a recipe for a disaster.

Pot stirrer. As if the kid doesn't have enough on his mind--looking forward to some hometown buddy visit and this is what he gets? Man.

Are you just projecting?

You used to be nice and funny, or I just came in to the game late and missed a bunch.

I know better than to jump in on the dog issue. Although I would love to, I tried to ask a simple feeding question in the Pet Forum and got FLAMED right out of there!!! God forbid I did not feed my dog $100. a bag dog food!
