You do not know what you are talking about.
That cab had 300k total coverage.
Lyft has 1 million dollars in coverage. 3 times more coverage.

Wrong again. In fact, I would bet with the app off 95% of rudeshare drivers are totally uninsured. You see, if you don't tell your insurer your using the vehicle as a commercial vehicle, you are uninsured. Rudeshare carries only 20k medical, in other words, nothing.

In driver mode, uber has a paltry 25k injury limit.

I’m agreeing with you. I’d bet if a rideshare driver had to carry mandatory rideshare/commercial insurance, and it would have to be displayed, they would lose 80% of the drivers

Who are you going to sue? You can’t sue the middle car and you said the one who caused the accident took off

Your Clue report has got to be a disaster

Lyft has 1 million in coverage. Lawyers are going after that policy. The cab is secondary. They're going with being too close. The cab will have to go after the truck driver.

At least that is what they briefly told me. How it ends up, I have no clue.

And yeah, my Clue has chapters.

We aren't all bad, Tekkie. Sometimes I come off a bit harsh in writing, but I'm actually a nice person, and you know this. 😁

Let's change the subject. Did you guys see the RJ's write-up on the anniversary of Pepcon? I remember that day like it was last week, but I had no idea the thing was almost as powerful as a nuke. It's a miracle only a couple people died. The pink mushroom cloud was a sight to behold.

I was about 19 and working for a Xerox repair company on the same radio band as a glass plant near the site. Lots of rules about profanity over the airwaves went out the window that day.

I thought the RJ did a pretty good article.
