Oh no it didn't. It's been that way for at least a few years now. I just checked with my girlfriend's husband who works at the Mirage.

And thank goodness for that! I had to do my "pennance" with the sheriff card thing back in the day, too.

I have a misdemeanor on my criminal background ( simple assault ) I was stupid and drunk and I learned from my mistake. I'm having trouble finding a job. Are there a program or something out in law vegas that can assist me if finding a job?

I have a friend who works as an exotic dancer in Las Vegas. She has 2 pending felonies for possession and trafficking of cocaine. She already lost access to benefits for her children due to the pending status of her felonies. If she is convicted of the felonies, will she lose her ability to work in the Las Vegas exotic dancer industry and what other jobs would she be prevented from working and for what duration of time/how long?
