I fully understand your point. My post is a contribution to the general discussion occurring in this thread. At no time does my post intimate a courtroom situation, nor do I think it should. I thought you meant it when you asked for opinions. Ex------cuse me.

I substituted for a while, it was a lower income school. for some reason, the students said all white teachers were racist. I would ask why, but it was useless. they were just racist. I asked if the few white kids in schools got easier test or less homework, something showing that the minorities were treated wrongly. Nope, it was just that the students have to blame someone for their shortcomings.
that is what I noticed. I don't care if my student has a racist teacher. even if the teacher says " I hate Hispanics", i don't care, as long as my kid is not treated any harsher or easier.
If my kids cannot keep up with the " white" kids, then he needs to be held back.
we cannot lower the standards for a few kids, mine included.

Girl mentioned in this thread is top student and has no issues with other white or non white teachers.

Yes, it would only be racist if one would tell one USA-hater to leave but not another based on race.

It's just some of that old "love-it-or-leave-it" especially if someone pretends to have allegiance to some other country. I think someone immigrated from England would get the same treatment if they acted like England was superior and expressed disgust for the USA. At work one time a guy who was originally from Barbados suggested that another employee go back to Puerto Rico because she was acting like she was superior for being Puerto Rico. Ironically since PR is part of the USA, she wasn't an immigrant. But then also people from Ohio will get told to go back to Ohio if they move to another state and start acting like they despise that state.

No reason to pull down all the standards for those who want a free pass.

Uh; "native" Americans came from Asia and no 1 alive today was around when the Indian Wars were going down.

Back to the OP: teachers NEED to be careful saying stuff AND racist groups like the KKK, Nazi skinheads, la raza and so on need to watch it too.

THAT would set up a fight big time since MANY "Hispanics" started out in Spain and Spain's in Europe. Sheesh!
