@Threestep, maybe language skills may not be a legal requirement for an H1-B, but for most employers they certainly would be a strong asset. Same for romance. Yeah, it's great all those men and women who meet a foreigner and fall in love without being able to communicate, but if someone is trying to find a mate through online dating sites, the language will come into play. Certainly when it comes to better educated women.

Which isn't being disputed. The simplicity of it all which is being sidetracked is that the OP is required to go through all the hoops and if he doesn't meet any of the necessary requirements to obtain a visa then he won't be successful in realizing his dream. What anyone thinks or feels is irrelevant.
