To the OP, we are here to help you out. Please do not take anyone's comments to heart. If I wanted to bash someone I would do it and not reply to a thread with advice. Good luck and stay positive. Things will come around once you get out there and try some things out. Be patient. Let us know what happens.
imma? Maybe before you go to the park you should take an English class.
Wow, a 15 year old kid, looking for advise and something to do on Long Island and you comment on his English skills. Great way to alienate a person. Aren't you the same guy who advises travelers to get off exits in mafioso neighborhoods of Queens?

Yup, maybe you should join him.
He's 15, not 5. Go outside and meet the kids in the neighborhood. Ride a bike, play basketball, it's not that hard. Does he really need to use an internet forum to find something to do? I don't think so. Generations of children have found things to do before computers were a household item. Maybe the computer is his downfall in spelling and grammar and social skills as well.

I do agree that kids have become very dependent on computers and video games for their entertainment. However, it was clear this kid was seeking alternatives and didn't need your silly comment to discourage him.
