I would rake when I got around to it, or if it seemed that the leaves were blowing into the street and creating a driving hazard. I wouldn't expect my neighbors to cater to my schedule, and they shouldn't expect me to cater to theirs. It wouldn't even occur to me to get bent out of shape over a neighbor's leaves blowing into the yard. The bottom line is that in autumn, leaves fall from trees. If you don't like it, go live someplace either without trees or without a change of seasons.

Exactly - unless you have a front yard fence that just traps everything onto your property, it will just move on at some point. It's not killing your grass this time of year is it? Why get worked up over something so minor? It's not like someone changed their motor oil or antifreeze and left it on your front door step.

instead of complaining about the problem, do something to fix the problem, pick up some laborers from home depot, or do it yourself if it bothers you that so much.
or u can just continue waving your cane on the porch

Why does everybody have a problem with leaves on the ground? I'm glad your neighbor leaves the leaves, its alot better than bringing more landscaping trucks, illegals, and leaf blowers into the area.
Good for him!

Where we live, all of us have the same guy do our lawns and when the leaves are all down he comes and does a final fall cleanup. Everyone's lawn is covered with leaves right now, and quite frankly, it is very nice to look at.

I'd rather look at my green lawn than brown leaves covering it along with my driveway.

I'm just glad two of my neighbors had the service company pick up the leaves yesterday, two more neighbors to go. Then I can finally be happy.

Have had a leaf blower for years, never liked the way it worked. Was outside using it today and so was my neighbor using his, I commented on how much noise his made.

He pulled this string thing on mine and it started to make the same noise as his, works much better now.

To some leafs on the ground are unatural and need to be removed immediately. My neighbor has a lawn service and a few hours after they leave he's out there with the blower, trims his branches every few years . I guess noise pollution trumps leaf pollution. I really have to wonder why people move to an area with trees if they hate trees.
