I am no expert but I refrain from too small of fills. The smallest fill I ever did was 200 gallons & that was bc it was begining of March to push me into spring when the heat is off.

I usually don't tip the oil guy but I have in the past. I am not sure what is the norm if there is one. As usual, I always offer water or something to drink to all service people.

I have a new-ish (4 years old in February) oil tank which is small. 50 gallons is a little less than 1/6 a tank (330 gal tank) I don't do 50 on a regular basis -- it's when I am in a pinch more than anything.

My kero company up north deliveries 3-4 weeks during heating season, a little less frequently off season. (Contract as the system is old and I am not there on a regular basis) They deliver between 75-200 as a clip. I guess the house up north has never been full enough to warrant less than 75.

Pretty cool, I looked at it, even though I have gas heat.
The rocket 7100 can be used with underground tanks, but not the 7000 model.
