My husband and I joke that we need to open a Chipotle on the south shore.

I didn't know Farmingdale was considered South Shore, actually. I have a lot to learn about L.I. still. I meant moreso from Wantagh westward.

There's a Green Cactus in Wantagh, go there instead. Better than Chipotle.

Are you kidding? Long Island is the home to fast food chains.

I agree. And there's Taco Joes, Zim Zari, Three Amigos Grill, and now Moes opened recently all in Massapequa.

As for opening another one, you have the chipotle on 110 Gpsma mentioned...Maybe look in the Merrick-Bellmore area.

I wouldn't consider chipotle fast food at all. Do you eat there? Everything is made fresh on the grill. Real meat, real homemade rice, fresh salsas/avocado, etc. along sunrise highway past Green Acres Mall, I see one Friday's restaurant and not much else...

I agree with you there. Along Sunrise there isn't much other than White Castles or McDonald's. Once you're further out there's tons of places.

Yes I would definitely consider it fast food. Fast casual, to be more specific, but it's fast food. I do enjoy it, I'm not knocking Chipotle, but you can pretty much throw a rock and hit at least one or two fast food joints on Long Island (which is what your original question was asking)
