I'm in the market for a new countertop for a bathroom vanity. I found a quartz countertop I like, but the place does not install them. I need someone who can take off the old countertop/sink/faucet and install the new ones. It is a small job, so does anyone know of someone who would do this? I'm thinking a plumber wouldn't do the countertop, so would a handyman do all of this?

You really need someone who knows how to handle quartz... especially when cutting the hole for the sink. Also if your wall isn't perfectly straight, it would need to be scribed so there are no gaps.

A pre-drilled bathroom vanity top is a super easy install, especially if the holes are on the same center as the one being removed (usually 4" apart) and the dimensions of the top are the same. Any experienced handyman can do this in about 45 mins. (remove+install) as long as the water feeds aren't older copper soldered (flex instead).

When you say quartz, do you mean a specific brand? When we lived in NY we had Silestone installed in our kitchen. I know they sell it at Home Depot and such but we ordered directly online, I think the place was ecounters.com. They sent someone out to measure and then they came back a few weeks later for the install. I imagine a bathroom counter would take less time. We were very happy with the job they did and they were running a promotion where they were giving away a sink of our choice with the purchase....which was nice because the sink I wanted was $600!
