100,000 homes on LI now without power. Listening to Suffolk Police, fire, and EMS on the scanner. Reports mainly consist of trees down on houses . . .

Thanks Roseymarie. My friends and family on the Island and Jersey have been going silent along with the good folks here at cd. I'm more used to dealing with a hurricane rather than watching from a distance.
