Some trees down, along with no power in stony brook. Winds are getting strong.
We lost power at 4 and had a giant oak fall. It was in my backyard and fell between my house and my neighbor's. I was always afraid of it falling downhill and onto his house. Phew! This thing was so tall that it even blocked my street!
Thanks Roseymarie. My friends and family on the Island and Jersey have been going silent along with the good folks here at cd. I'm more used to dealing with a hurricane rather than watching from a distance.
