loveithateit -- are you within the ToS? Both entities have taken some time where permits were concerned. IIRC, ToS was one of the areas where a client's permit application was hung up by the BOH. I forget the TOS process, but speak with your architect and see if you're going to need BOH approval for your extension. If so, see if you can initiate that paperwork now.

Yes, I'm in ToS (aka ToST as I"m learning these abbreviations still). Architect said permit was quick where I'm at. But I was under the impression I had to list a GC in order to apply for a permit. Just sent an email asking for clarification. I would like to get the permit asap.

I don't know what BOH means.

Town of Hempstead, Town of Oysterbay, Town of Huntington, you can file with out listing GC. Not sure about ToST..
