That's great! We are patiently waiting for the Best Yet at the old Waldbaums in Merrick to open! Last we asked they said it would be open a few weeks ago! Guess we can always expect delays with such a large project. Unlike some of the Pathmarks that became Stop & Shops. THey did not do much renovations & were only closed a week for the transition. Best Yet is changing everything top to bottom. As well as the floor plan. So I am sure lots of demolition took place. And with that comes more permits & inspections. Hence all the delays in opening.
