You are correct, there website says you can't pay the general in 2017. They are accepting 2nd half school taxes, I will be at town hall Monday to pay them.
The "wonderful" part of all this is that our tax money will go to give tax breaks to large corporations and the super rich so they can create more jobs for the rest of us... Thanks GOP!

Of course we knew this would turn into a debate on the tax bill.
I think the average LI person will get a small reduction in taxes in spite of the SALT limitations. The wealthy, of course, will do much much better than that.
It's how Republicans work - make the masses think they are on your side.
Think of going to a party where you get one quarter of a slice of pizza, and someone else gets four slices. Yeah, you're slightly ahead, but...
Half our school tax is $5k alone, so if I can get money back from that, before I can't at all, I'm doing it. Thanks for the heads up.
