Illegals are running scared nowadays. All those guys hanging out at Home Depot all day and night have their proper documentation.

Why don't they infiltrate? Is it too difficult to join?

Does this mean it’s safe to move back to Massapequa and Huntington?

Why so many negative comments? 96 dangerous gang members are off the street, and I for one am grateful. No, it may not eradicate MS-13 from Long Island, but it certainly weakens their organization and will make it easier to isolate and disempower the remaining members, much as the Italian mafia still exists but with not nearly the power and influence they once enjoyed before Giuliani made his move. And whatever you feel about Trump, he was the first president to bring national attention to this gang and I do believe that lit a fire under local authorities to make this a priority. I congratulate law enforcement for this significant step towards making our communities safer.

This is what happens when you build a country off of free labor

Good work arresting these violent gang members. (This is not to say the gang cannot recruit more members/leaders or that this was a significant problem for every Long Island village, town and hamlet.)

Our sanctuary laws will allow for rapid refilling of those members.

No! Both towns are literal cesspools of gang activity

If we slack off again MS13 will grow again simple as that.

The Obama deportation numbers have been widely debunked as he manipulated the numbers to included border apprehensions as “deportations” to boost his numbers to try to get the GOP to buy into immigration reform bill. Under Obama interior enforcement actually dropped.

I’m no fan of King but as we discussed before Brentwood wasn’t even in his district until 7 or 8 years ago when he was Gerrymandered. And I agree he’s 100% cheap labor GOP has zero desire to really enforce immigration law.
Border Apprehensions have been included in every President's #'s, it has nothing to do with Obama. Also, King's district wasn't gerrymandered to include Brentwood. The courts drew the lines last time after the Democratic Assembly and Republican Senate couldn't agree on a map. If anything the 2000's version of the district was gerrymandered (look at the carve out in SW Suffolk and east central Nassau removing Jericho & Plainview). FWIW, the 2000's version was more of an Incumbent protection gerrymander that the Democratic Assembly and GOP State Senate agreed on and made both King & Israel's districts safer for each side.
