Just cut down every single tree and install artificial turf.
Back to the stupid... what do you think makes the electricity that charges the toxic batteries.....

RE: Almost everyone I see using a leaf blower appears to be of Latin American descent. Ergo, this thread is racist and so is everyone in it.

The reality is that landscaping workers (whom you say "appear to be of Latin American descent") are subjected to severe health risks while operating gas powered leaf blowers. The intense noise inches away from their ears, the toxic fumes they are inhaling is heartbreaking! These poor workers are subjected to these severe health risks all day long & usually 6 days per week. Surely you have to acknowledge this social injustice!

If you think that’s bad you should see what the health risks of drinking a six pack of Tecate at 10am are.

I kid. Clearly you haven’t read up on the dangers of rakes. Eyes poked out, tripping hazards… doesn’t anyone remember Sideshow Bob?

I'm listening to the sounds of mowers and leaf blowers right now as I'm WFH. It's lawn day for the people across the street. It doesn't bother me in the least. It's not terribly loud and we still have contractor grade windows. I expect it to be quieter when we upgrade to double/triple insulated windows. Anything further than the adjacent neighbors is faint so I hear it maybe 3 or 4 times per week. And it's not going to last for more than 30 minutes. In fact, in the time I typed this post they have moved to their backyard and I can barely hear it.

Yapping dogs are more disruptive than mowers and blowers. They can go on all day. Nevertheless, my WFH office is much quieter overall than the work office.
